How to Configure Identity Settings for Set Document Id​

Steps to Configure Identity Settings​

  1. Go to the Properties Viewer of the Document Number Assignment object.
  2. Under the Identity section:
    • Target → Select the document object where the document number will be assigned.
    • Type → Choose one of the following:
      • Form Number Format → Uses a predefined number format defined in the form properties.
      • From Variable Object → Retrieves the number dynamically from a Variable object.
    • Format/Object → Depending on the Type, select the appropriate format or variable from the list.

How to Add the Set Document Id Object to a Workflow​

  1. Open the Flow Designer.
  2. Drag and drop the Set Document Id object from the Toolbox Panel onto the workflow canvas.
  3. Select the object and configure its properties in the Properties Viewer.
  4. Switch between the Appearance and Properties tabs to adjust visual and functional settings.
